The difference between Hillary Clinton and Obama is that Hillary is exactly who she says she is
Though I have certainly questioned my year long fervent opposition to Obama on occasion - more of late - still my basic belief remains: He's a fraud.By this I mean: He ain't who he says he is. It IS as simple as that. If he hadn't sold himself as the second coming, and not just another politician trying to win and do some good, I might have been able to stomach the Obamatons' chant of "He's just a politician" when they experienced some cognitive dissonance over FISA last summer. But he and his cult insisted he was not "just a politician" while they trashed Hillary and the traditional Democratic base as racist Neanderthals. He was something new. He was our last, best hope. So they insisted.
But Obama was NEVER who he said he was. Those of us who did not give over our brains to mindless chants and the personality cult knew - at the very least - that something was missing.
With Clinton there never was any cognitive dissonance. Far from creating an alternate persona in order to win during her campaign - she seems to have become herself as the year marched on. She came into her own.
I see no reason to comment on the media's take on her. The media is deranged. I don't write that as an insult - it seems to be a simple and obvious fact at this point. I don't care anymore what any of the MSM has to say about either Clinton. The crazy lady outside my grocery store talking nonstop about her imaginary dog and aliens is more firmly grounded in reality. Her agenda is obvious and honest: to collect enough change to get a burger. The MSM's agenda is neither reality based or honest.
So now we get this delighted remark from MegaConservative Max Boot regarding BHOs security team: "I am gobsmacked by these appointments, most of which could just as easily have come from a President McCain," posted at PEBS: Progressive Exploding Head Syndrome. Also worth a read: Not One Anti-War Voice, Obama's Kettle of Hawks. Carolyn at Make Them Accountable produces a bang up collection of headlines every day. Both these stories come through her. Make it a regular stop on your blog rounds.
It is easy to imagine President-Elect Hillary Clinton making similar national security appointments. The difference is: No one would have been surprised. She ran as a hawk with moderate impulses. Obama did not.
