Palin thoughts.

Quick thoughts on Palin's speech.

1. A star was born tonight.
2. She comes by the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" honestly.
3. She hit Obama in a way Clinton supporters wanted Hillary to for 8 months. She called a fraud a fraud.
4. She and her family are authentic. This authenticity throws the hologram that is Obama into sharp relief. Obama's entire life is a P. R. creation. Palin's is real.
5. She beat the snot out of the media. Thank God. Thank God. Thank God.
6. She is not yet "presidential" - however, she is trustworthy. I trust her now - if she does have to take the reigns, God forbid, she will be up to the task. She has a notebook under her arm. She comes to work TO WORK. I trust her ability to make decisions about country, not expediency.
7. "Some people use the word "change" to promote their careers and some use their careers to promote change." is the single best line of the campaign.
8. A working husband comfortable with a powerful wife is inspiring to see. That entire family is inspiring to see.
9. The "special needs" moment was genuine and amazing.
10. The Left will call her "snide." A major double standard will emerge: Palin's rough and tumble politics will be trashed. Biden's over the top comments will be considered funny and expected.
Issues aside, based on qualifications only:
I am fine with this Palin being Vice President. I think I am fine with Biden being Vice President. (How much does he drink?) I am comfortable with McCain being Preisdent. Obama is still not qualified to be President.
