What number is more remarkable in the screen shot from today's RCP polls? For today, I am going with the second one...A few short weeks ago the generic DEM lead was 16%.

The generic Dem number has been sinking since BHO was anointed. If it continues to sink...hmmm...sure, I'll say it again: Obama is poison.
One other note: Is Biden telegraphing the end of his run for VP in the post below? BHO's support among white women dropped 20-25% since Palin was announced. BHO cannot afford to lose even 15% of these women and expect to win. Hillary Clinton would boomerang these women back to BHO.

Will Biden exit and Clinton come on to save the day? Did BHO FINALLY "get" that he needs the blue color base of the democratic party to win? Did BHO FINALLY get that insulting PUMAs was dumb? What did President Clinton and BHO really discuss? Deadenders has more.

This is a theory only. I doubt it will come to pass. Then again, a few weeks ago I thought Palin would be a great move and McCain would never do it. A swift move to dump Biden and get Hillary on the ticket would be awful for BHO - in the short run - but by the VP debate Obama may well have it wrapped up. Obama/Clinton is so much stronger it is hard to totally discount this theory. Clinton wins the election for Barky and he knows it.

The GOP opo research on Obama has yet to kick in. Biden cannot absorb it for him like Clinton can... And the generic DEM numbers now are damning. How can the Dems be in this position? Easy answer. Obama is a very weak candidate. The fact is even if BHO were to win by a substantial margin he would be a hobbled President early on. The reason is simple: He has not survived a vetting. He has been protected by the MSM. This weakens him. He'll get vetted. It may be while in the oval office - but he'll get vetted eventually. And many will be startled.

Besides Obama has never won an election on his merits. His people know this.
