Watching Russ Feingold yesterday, like Jack Murtha's speech on Iraq, was wonderful. He speaks for me. Murtha continues to speak for me. Finally, hearing someone say out loud that this administration has LIED to us. This administration is incompetent.
Then what happens? Harry "McWhinerson" Reid comes out with a eulogy. Please forgive me for being so pissed off. I'm sorry that Senator Inouye's wife died. But we were getting something done and he interrupted for something that could have been done at another time.
Now we have all the wimpy Democrats not willing to stand by Feingold just as they wouldn't stand by Murtha.
The Republicans would never wimp out like that. Gingrich said that every speech he gave he was going to bring up Monica and he never backed down. The President is consistently WRONG but he stands by being wrong. I'm not sure that makes much sense but I hope you follow.
The Democrats better wise up because the reason a lot of us are supporting them is to take the House over and begin impeachment hearings.
They're so afraid of their own shadows I don't know if we can trust them to do it.
